# General information

AccuWeather's Deep Links API returns ready-to-use **direct URLs** to weather content on accuweather.com — current conditions, forecasts, alerts, radar, and more. Use these links anywhere you want to bridge your app or site to AccuWeather's full web experience: "Read more" links, footer references, share buttons, or embedded widgets.

A single API call returns **every available deep link** for a location, so you only need to make one request to populate an entire navigation menu or link panel.

→ See the [Deep Links Guide](/developers/deep-links/guide) and [Parameters](/developers/deep-links/parameters) for endpoint details and request patterns.

## How language, location, and units propagate

The `language`, `details`, and `units` parameters you pass on the Deep Links request are reflected in the returned URLs. So if a user is browsing your app in French with metric units, the deep links will open the AccuWeather pages in French with metric units too — no extra work required.

## Requirements

Deep link requests require a **LocationKey**. Use the [Locations API](/developers/locations/guide) to look one up.
